Meeting on 15th June 2008

Our last meeting that was held in BATTON ROUGE, was excellent, awesome, fabulous. It was brightened by participating more ex student than last meeting. We could meet many of our elder brothers, friends and younger. We talked each other a lot to share our feelings. We were updating each other.

We discussed how to improve students of Sankuchail High School. Many delivered their valuable ideas. Thus, honorable elder brothers are going to make action plan. And we shall all cooperate to improve the result of Sankuchail high School.

Dear All Ex-Student,

Assalamu Alikum. We are very pleased to inform you that, we have done very successful discussion on 31st,May,2008 with a huge number of ex-students at Button rouge restaurant. A large number of students ( those who are still under study) as well as some other ex-students joined and have given their valuable opinion about our school and what we need to do for the educational up-gradations, which will be mentioned as below as summery. One very exiting information is, one of our ex-students has opened a web-side under our school name, which mention on top and its puts a new edition and everybody is requested to input their ideas/suggestions (only for the educational up-gradation matters) in the web-site.

- Despite of their full intention, but due to work pressure and traffic, following ex-student were not able attend our last discussion.

Proposal/Suggestions:

  1. 4th,meeting will be held on 12th,July,2008, Saturday at 6.00 p.m in House no. 22(Rupkatha), Road no. 9, Block-G, Banani, Dhaka. (Location map attached)
  2. Comilla meeting will be held on 13th,June,2008 and will share the opinion on 4th,meeting.
  3. If Dhaka-Comilla and Chittagong’s idea is same for further proceed, then, will make some roadmap for the future activities.
  4. Almost all the above students ( 49 persons) agreed during discussion for the following points (adding with the 1st/2nd and 3rd meeting).
    1. As all the students are very positive and agreed about the issues of school, so, we will start our work for the further proceed and will find out some way for the implement our ideas.
    2. Will make a planning team with the representative of senior and junior ex-students, and needs to sit frequently for the planning.
    3. Everybody is very much keen about the English as well as other subject teacher’s efficiency label, which needs to be up-grade comparing with at least with district label.
    4. Managing committee needs to understand the present demand of educational competition.
    5. Some good students facing financial problems, that’s student’s needs to sort out and give the financial supports.
    6. Lots of idea came during discussion but all those points are not directly related with our mission at this moment, so, we didn’t included this idea/points. We respect, each and every opinion and we need this sorts of ideas, which is very important, we are keeping note. In future, we will implement all of the good ideas, where necessary.

- Discussion resolved with the understanding that, we will meet again on 12th,July,08 and will keep reviewing all the points and with the new students. No decision has taken and still all the points under discussion and proposal form.

- Chittagong discussion held on May,08 and Mr. Makhon visited and meet with some of our ex-students. Opinion is as below,

  1. They have appreciated very much about this matter and fully agreed to co-operate and participate for the school’s educational up-grade matters.
  2. Need to start interclass sports/daily assembly.
  3. Other points discussed and agreed to continue our program.

Comilla :

Comilla discussion held on 13th,June,08 at Dr.Golam Mahiuddin, Dipu’s hospital and following ex-students ( those who are living in Comilla) were present and from Dhaka side Dr. BiddutMr. Mizan/Mr. Billal/ Mr. Makhon and Mr. Hanif was also present and explained about our activities of Dhaka and Chittagong.

Proposal/Suggestions from Comilla:

    1. We need to proceed for re-union program with all ex-students.
    2. Need to start exchange of views/dialogue with managing committee/students parents and all guardians.
    3. Mr. Siraz will co-ordinate with Dhaka and He will organize other students also along with Mr. Dipu and only Comilla’s ex-students will sit together again and will include more students, to make aware ness with as much possible.
    4. Lots of other point discussed and every body agreed to continue our program and will participate in all respect for the up-gradation of our school’s educations.
